A highly qualified social work practitioner registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers with over 15 years of experience spanning the mental health, advocacy, child protection, clinical assessments and counselling practice areas.

Currently, running a practice that specializes in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling.
Edna is an expert in using several clinical modalities like cognitive behaviour therapy, solution focused therapy, art and play therapy among others to achieve optimal outcomes with clients.

This extensive experience is complimented by strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills finely honed over the years, practicing in diverse socio-cultural environments. This has enabled Edna to achieve positive results with clients within their own cultural setting.

Edna’s stellar credentials is further enhanced with an impressive education. She possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has participated in many professional conferences on key and emerging topics in the fields of Mental Heath, Equity, Inclusion and Cultural Safety to mention a few.

Always conscientious on community affairs, she has been invited to speak on mental health issues in her community on several occasions and continues to develop her passion for public speaking.
